TURN OFF THE TV - you should not be able to see or hear a television while doing your homework. It reduces your ability to concentrate and think. A television that is on, will draw kids and youngsters to it like a magnet. read more

- Hillel Academy takes its name from Rabbi Hillel, in fact there were three famous Rabbis with the name Hillel, all of whom were significant leaders and teachers within their community.
- Hillel stands on approximately 13 acres of land, the School having recently purchased 3.2 acres of adjoining land on Shortwood Drive, and now boasts a FIFA regulation size football field.
- The famous Damien Marley, son of Jamaican music icon Bob Marley attended Hillel Academy for both Prep and High School.
- Another famous musical artist Sean Paul Henriques is also an alumna of Hillel Academy, Prep and High.
- Hillel Academy is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, SACS/CASI in the United States and is an International Baccalaureate World School. Hillel is also the Cambridge University Examination Centre for Jamaica.
- Over the past three years Hillel students have been the top contributors to the Heart Foundation of Jamaica’s Annual Fund Run!
- Hillel Academy Prep School is proud of our Swim Team which is #1 among prep schools in Jamaica!
- Hillel is very active in our community and Hillel High School students must complete between 30 to 60 hours of community service every year depending on their grade level.
