Hillel Academy High School University Admissions
All Hillel Academy High School students will find assistance with their career choices and university applications right here at school. Information evenings several times each year begin the discussion with both students and their parents. Students are encouraged to speak with Dr. Derek Bleyberg, our university counsellor, any time about their plans and any questions relating to the future that awaits them. They are urged to take the Centigrade Interests Test from Cambridge Occupational Analysts in the UK to help them form stronger ideas about the life path that is best for them. Students are also prepared for the PSAT and SAT examinations within the school timetable. International Baccalaureate students are urged to consult Dr. Bleyberg about their subject choices, based on the careers or universities they aspire to enter. When the time comes to select universities and colleges for application, students and parents are offered individual advice and assisted in the complex process of form filling and essay writing. Many U.S., U.K., Canadian and other university officers visit Hillel during the school year and sessions are organized for students to meet with them and get information about their university.
